Are you a Chemistry graduate who has come to the realisation that a lab-based job may not be the best fit for you? Do you hope to find an alternative role in the industry which will allow you to use and build on the knowledge and skills gained during your degree studies?
As a Product Analyst at Apollo Scientific, you’ll be part of a team offering day-to-day support to colleagues across the company, as well as working on data analysis and content creation projects aligned with the company’s ambitious goals.
On a given day, you could be researching industry trends to identify new chemical/biochemical products to offer or creating content for Apollo’s website and marketing materials. Or you might be analysing sales figures to assist with business strategy decisions or helping a colleague with a technical problem. You’ll also be responsible for populating and maintaining the chemical database which feeds into our website and SAP system.
The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable with writing scientific text and analysing numerical/scientific data, as well as having strong problem-solving and time management skills. Curiosity, attention to detail and a drive to continuously develop and find better ways of doing things are highly desirable attributes for this role (it goes without saying that you should also have a Chemistry or Life Sciences degree and be able to work alone and as part of a team!)
