Science Graduate – Business Development Trainee

 

We have an exciting opportunity for graduates of a Chemistry/Science degree to join our sales team as a Business Development Trainee. This is an opportunity for those wanting to apply their scientific knowledge to a business environment within a customer facing role.

As part of our sales team, you will be working closely with your own customer accounts, building on long-standing relationships, and providing a quality service. You will need to be a team player working with other members of the sales team and other departments to offer a quality service to our customers, going above and beyond to meet their needs.

You will be working to help increase our active customer base alongside our marketing department through pro-active capture of new business accounts undertaking sales calls and visits as appropriate and further developing existing accounts, mostly within the UK, Europe, and North America.

You will help to process customer enquiries and orders, review sales quotations and analyse sales data in order to spot market trends and increase Apollo’s brand profile within both domestic and international markets.

You may have the opportunity to attend customer meetings, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the Apollo brand and meet with existing and new customers.

Life Sciences Graduate – Business Development Trainee

 

We have an excellent opportunity for graduates of a Life Science degree (minimum 2:2) to join our commercial team. This is an opportunity for those wanting to apply their scientific knowledge to the business environment within an office-based role.

Ideally you will have previous experience in sales or customer service and you will be able to apply this knowledge to the management of customer accounts. Alongside this, you will be motivated and pro-active in your approach to work in order to drive business through building new supply chains and researching novel intermediates. You will be confident in your ability to build and maintain customer relationships and in turn you will have the opportunity to market the Company in an international arena.
